Welcome to Day 6 of our 7 day Beginner Yoga Challenge.
Today, we're focusing on a beginner friendly yoga workout that combines elements of strength building and weight loss.
As always, I'm keeping things simple and accessible for all levels. Don't worry if you're new to fitness or yoga, this practice is designed to meet you where you are and help you build strength gradually.
Let's talk about why combining strength building and weight loss elements in yoga can be so beneficial. Building strength helps to tone your muscles, improve your posture, and boost your metabolism. The dynamic movements we'll be doing can also help with weight loss by increasing your heart rate and burning calories. Plus, yoga can help reduce stress.
In today's video, we'll be moving through a series of poses that engage multiple muscle groups at once. We'll focus on building core strength, as well as working your arms, legs, and back. Don't worry, we'll take breaks and I'll offer modifications for each pose.
You can expect a mix of standing poses, balancing exercises, and some gentle flow sequences. We'll move at a slightly faster pace than in previous sessions, but always with control and mindfulness.
